Elizabeth Purinton (Ph. D. – University of Rhode Island) is an Associate Professor and Department Chair at Marist College in Poughkeepsie, New York, U.S.A.  Dr. Purinton is a fellow of the AMA-Sheth Foundation Doctoral Consortium.  Her research programs include consumer behavior of jewelry and tattoos, student engagement and strategic alignment.  Dr. Purinton’s research is published in the Academy of Marketing Science Review, Journal of Electronic Commerce in Organizations, the Journal of Business Research, the Journal of Business and Behavioral Sciences, the Journal of Business to Business Marketing, and several conference proceedings.

Dr. Tusshar Mahajan is serving as Professor in the Management Department of Institute of Management Studies (IMS)-Ghaziabad (India) and holding responsibility of Controller of Examination. He did Ph.D., M.B.A., M.Tech., M.Sc. from Devi Ahilya Vishwa Vidyalaya (DAVV), Indore (M.P.), a prestigious Government University of India. Dr. Tusshar Mahajan is having rich academic-experience of 21 years at various capacities in different universities/institutions. He has more than 70 research publications to his credit in National and International Journals and Conferences of repute. He has authored two books in the field of management.

Dr. Tusshar Mahajan has been bestowed with ‘International Recognition’ for the pride of place in “100 Most Dedicated Professors” by the “World Education Congress” (Global Body) at Mumbai (5th July 2018). He has also been conferred with “Indian Leadership Award for Education Excellence” by Indian Economic Development & Research Association, New Delhi in the year 2013. He has been awarded with Best Research Paper Awards for “An Empirical Study of Determinants of E-Learning: An Innovative Pedagogy” at International Conference, IMT, Faridabad, India (7 April 2012) and for “Study of Academic Entrepreneurship Intention” at National Conference, RDIAS, Delhi, India (17-18 April 2015).

Recently he has Presented Research Paper at International Forum, entitled “Analysis of Autonomy Factor of Entrepreneurship Intention with reference to Students of Selected Universities of North-India in International Academic Conference (26-28 July 2018) organized by ‘Petra Christian University, Surabaya, Indonesia. He has also presented research paper in the International Conference at Fairleigh Dickinson University, Vancouver, Canada held in March-2017 and the research article was published by Springer. His research paper entitled “Effect of Blended Learning on Interpersonal Effectiveness Factor of Managerial Effectiveness: An Empirical Study” was published in ANUJAT Journal of All Nations University, Ghana.

Recently he has worked as Research Project Director and submitted a Research Project; approved and funded by ICSSR (Indian Council of Social Science & Research), an Indian Government Research Organization, entitled “Study of Driving Factors of Entrepreneurship Intention among Students of Selected Universities of North-India”.

Prof. Tusshar Mahajan has delivered various Guest/Special Lectures at different institutes/organizations like Institute of Management and Entrepreneurship Development, Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University, Pune (India); Institute of Management & Technology, Faridabad (India); Amity University, Noida (India); Agriclinic & Agribusiness Centre, Moradabad (India) etc. He has Organized 3rd International Conference (SDCIP-2013) as Co-Convener from 22nd to 23rd March 2013 at TMIMT-Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad (India) and worked as Organizing Committee Member of International and National Conferences at Teerthanker Mahaveer University-Moradabad, RDIAS-Delhi, Institute of Management Studies (IMS)-Ghaziabad etc. Dr. Tusshar Mahajan is Member of Editorial Board of reputed Journals and Member of Advisory Board of various International Conferences.

Apart from academic activities, he is fond of sports, biking and travelling.

Prof. (Dr.s) Ami. U. Upadhyay is a young dynamic Vice Chancellor at Dr.Babsaheb Ambedkar Open University, Ahmedabad,Gujarat, India.She is a Professor of English Literature, Language and Communication Skills. She has been teaching in Higher Education since 1998. Presently she is also shouldering the responsibility of Director, School of Humanities and Social Sciences. She has contributed as an academician as well as academic administrator notably. She has presented papers and participated in more than 65 International, National and State Level Conferences and seminars. She has offered her service on invitation as Keynote/plenary speaker and resource person for more than 75 such academic occasions. She has to her credit more than 25 publications in form of research papers and books.  She offers her service as an editor and reviewer with many national and international journals. She is associated with many academic institutes/universities as Member of Board of Management, Member of Board of Studies, Member of Academic Planning Board, Member of Academic Councils etc. She is also member of various academic and professional bodies like CLAI, ELTAI, SUETA etc. Her areas of interest are Feminism, Comparative Literature, Cultural Studies, adaptation of Literature in various forms, translation studies, gender studies, ELT, Communication Skills and Various Teaching Methodologies with special reference to English Language Teaching. Interdisciplinary as well as Multi or Trans disciplinary research also appeal her.  She is also an adept classical dancer, Dance teacher and Choreographer. She has earned degrees of Visharad and Shiksha Visharad in Indian Classical Dance Kathak. She is National level resource person in the field of Kathak. In the field of Performing Arts, she is well known for unparallel experiments in the field of Indian Classical Dance Kathak. Dance Dramas and Experimental Dance presentation written, choreographed and performed by her with her dance troupe has made her earn a distinguished place in the field of dance not only in Gujarat but also in India. She had made the course of Kathak available online to learners on the website of University that too without any fees. She has earned her DNYS (Diploma in Naturopathy in Yogik Science). She is also ‘C’ certified NCC (Nevy) Cadet where she earned Chief Minister Scholarship. She has earned certificates at State Level Swimming Competitions too.

Kartinah Ayupp is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Economics & Business at Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS) where she has been a faculty member since 1997. She received her PhD in Strategic Management from the University of Salford, UK and her research interest is in the area of strategic management, HRM, knowledge management and entrepreneurship.

In terms of management responsibilities, her contribution regularly encompasses the faculty, university and state level. Within UNIMAS she has successfully held various posts such as the faculty’s Deputy Dean of undergraduate and student development, head of the Corporate Master in Business Administration’s program, undergraduate program’s coordinator, treasurer of the Majlis Professor Negara, UNIMAS Chapter, etc. This is in addition to external responsibilities such as the Deputy Chairman of Sarawak’s Minimum Wage Council, external academic program advisor, being on the assessing panel for the JPA Scholarship for Overseas Studies, being a committee member of the Sarawak’s Bumiputra Chamber of Commerce for HRM & Training, and editorial board member for various journals. Currently she is the head of the faculty’s research cluster, and also a committee member of the Ministry of International Trade and E-Commerce for the development of Ecommerce in the state of Sarawak, among others.

As an academician, she is also actively involved in the development of new programs, plus quality assurance auditing for UNIMAS programs and other external institutions. Her teaching experience covers both undergraduate and postgraduate level, teaching courses such as Business Research Methodology, Strategic Management, HRM, Corporate Governance, Knowledge Management, Entrepreneurship, New Product Strategies, etc. In terms of supervisory capacity, to date, she has more than 70 postgraduate students under her supervision.

Kartinah has published numerous journal articles, books and chapters-in-books, and gained various recognitions internationally, with the latest being conferred the Emerald Outstanding Paper Award by the internationally renowned Emerald Publishing group. She is also involved in many research grants and consultancy projects with a total amount of more than RM7 Million. Her research outcomes have not been limited to publication only, but have contributed to applicable and tangible outcomes, such as the recent drafting in 2019 of government policy on the foreign workers’ levy system for the Malaysian Ministry of Human Resource.

Dr Pável Reyes-Mercado is Marketing Professor in the School of Business and Economics at Anahuac University Mexico. He blends professional and academic experience that spans for more than 15 years.

Dr Reyes-Mercado has an educational background on electronics engineering and later MBA, which led him to occupy positions in Alcatel, Coca Cola Femsa, and HSBC bank. He also engages on consultancy activities for marketing and consumer analytics for market research agencies in United States and Mexico.

Dr Reyes-Mercado earned a PhD degree in Managerial Science from EGADE Business School Mexico in 2015. Since then he has focused a prolific research track on adoption and diffusion of innovations. Many of his papers, included in Scopus-ranked journals, explain the interaction among drivers that lead to higher uptake of new products in the realms of renewable energy, fitness technology, and virtual reality.

Another research line of Dr Reyes-Mercado refers to developing insights in the field entrepreneurial marketing. In collaboration with The Failure Institute, an international organization focused on assessing entrepreneurship failure, he developed research aimed at understanding how the organisational and personal flexibilities and rigidities lead the development of resiliency in young entrepreneurs.

Dr Reyes-Mercado has high interest in developing business case studies from the emerging economies standpoint. He has published 3 case studies on the Emerald Emerging Market Case Studies in which he derive experiences from marketers in Latin America. He recently co-edited the book “Reverse Entrepreneurship in Latin America: Internationalization from Emerging Markets to Developed Economies” where he collected cases from Latin American entrepreneurships and family business pursuing internationalization processes in developed economies.

Regarding academic activities, Dr Reyes-Mercado teaches courses on Marketing Frameworks, Marketing Analytics, and Business Simulators at undergraduate level. He also teaches a specialized course on Marketing for financial services at graduate level. He has been visiting professor at Institute of Public Enterprise India, Chandragupt Institute of Management Patna India, and University of Saint Francis of Quito, Ecuador where he has taught courses on Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management.

Dr Reyes-Mercado is currently working on a 2-year Mexican Government-funded research project aimed at assessing how innovations can be diffused in society at faster pace through the use of demand-side policies.

Halimin Herjanto is an Assistant Professor of Marketing at Marist College, USA. His current research interests include emotions, personal value and virtue, tourism behaviors, online behaviors, digital piracy and social network sites. Some of his research have been published in Journal of Service Theory and Practice, Journal of Hospitality Marketing & Management, Journal of Retailing and Consumer Services, International Review of Retail, Distribution and Consumer Research, Journal of Information, Communication, Journal of Internet Commerce, The Marketing Review, Communication and Ethics in Society, Asian Journal of Business Research and Journal of Services Research and many more. In addition, his research has been presented at the American Marketing Association, Academic of Marketing Science, Quis symposium, Marketing in Asia Group, Australia and New Zealand Marketing Academy Conference. Prior to his academic career, Halimin had more than 15 year’s business experience in various industries.
